Dream Theater owes a dollar.
:lol @ JMX
Holy shit. And I though the silent room stuff was a joke. He truly is The Silent Man.
WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH HIM?
I'm convinced it's an act, now. He must've decided it'd be funny not to say anything. And in fairness, it kind of is. Eric wouldn't've just put that in front of him worldessly, and JM would've asked questions. I'd guess the entire feature was probably loosely planned.
I actually quoted the wrong post :lol

What I was thinking when I wrote that was the Madison Square Garden video when Portnoy's like, "As you can see, John Myung is thrilled," and he doesn't even look up! I'm sorry, but it's just strange to me.

He really is an enigma.

I have a feeling even those closest to him have a hard time penetrating him. (in b4 dirty minded jokes)

Anyway I also think it's made up, mainly for the JR part and the Symphony X stuff (We wahn't give nah mahnee!) but it's funny nonetheless.

The dollar bit? It definitely was. The bits with James make it pretty clear.
Still absolutely hilarious.

I think he might be incredibly camera shy. Which doesn't entirely make sense for someone whose job is to get on stage and perform in front of thousands of strangers, nor for someone who has five live DVDs out, but hey.

Maybe it's a deliberate choice, and he's gone "this is what my public image will be." By all accounts he's a fairly funny fella backstage. He's witty enough - "bass" - and he happily tackled JLB, so he definitely wasn't born without a personality. He just chooses to conceal it. A bit like Teller, which it's just occurred to me is quite an ironic name for someone who doesn't say anything.

Whenever I see Myung in a video and he's not practicing bass, I start fearing for his health.
Gadough isn't Hitler. He's much, much worse.

When I see JMX playing bass on his own, it makes me feel slightly sad and concerned for him, even though it's his persona.

That's why every bass line he plays live sounds like the studio. Practice does make perfect, eh?

One of my favorite outtakes videos.  Contains "Pull My Finger" and "Canadian Rap" as well as some other goodies like "ass and balls" stuff.

Is just me or, Myung talks on this one?  :eek
I imagined the story to go more like this.

I was sitting a traffic light blaring Space Dye Vest and next to me in another car was Kevin Moore. And I'll never be open again.

I have no idea how many times James LaBrie has given us a tour of his drugs, but it's probably three.
