now that I think of it, if they did another song like "The Killing Hand", that would be pretty badass.

Any lyricalpenned song by Muyng really. Who can say nay to another Trial of Tears, Learning to Live, Liftings Shadows of a Dream and Fatal Tragedy musically? So very different instrumentally and lyrically.

The third side of III sides to every story by Extreme.  Would love to hear a "cupid's dead" Style D.T song as well.
This isn't really a "cover song" thread.
Hef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.

The version of Don't Look Past Me from the 5 Years in a Livetime DVD. I remember being completely entranced while watching that; DT's video output usually doesn't hold my interest well, but the sheer emotion found in that song stopped my breath. Come to think of it, I think it's that very trait that draws me to those three songs I picked.
There is no version of Don't Look Past Me on any DVD.

Oh? Then what song am I thinking of?

Edit: Speak To Me. Huh. Can you tell that I haven't dug into my obscure DT tracks in a while?
HOLY MARY MOTHER OF GOD!!!!!  THIS is why LHK is the President of Awesome.

Why is everything you post the best thing ever said?  :lol

LHK is beyond EPIC.

I didn't say cover it.   I said write a song "like" it.

You're right, bad choice of words.  I meant, this thread is looking at songs in DT's past catalogue, to see what kind of song they can reproduce.  Not songs of other people.

I hope they do more songs like Hell's Kitchen, These Walls, The Great Debate, Solitary Shell and Learning to Live.
