ENTRAILS - Hardcore Punk/Death from Wellington/NZ

Haven't given the album a proper listen, but what I have heard is rather brutal; crushing bass/guitar tone and guttural vocals to the max.  Pretty cool.

This is awesome! (You forgot the link, by the way: https://entrails.bandcamp.com/album/entrails-ep).
Would this be Crust?

Ha cheers I always forget to do the links.  I suppose it would be crust wouldn't it?  Though I don't think the band call themselves that.

listening to Diablo Swing Orchestra.  I'm very much intrigued by this.  Does every song have operatic female vocals?

The majority of them do. But the male vocalist does dominate a few songs. If you like The Butchers Ballroom, I recommend you get their second album "Sing Along Songs for the Damned and Delirious". It's as well an utterly fantastic album.

Last post on the page. Always happens :P

Yeh I really enjoyed listening to it. I gave it three spins in the first day. I'm not sure what genre it is but I really like the slow 'doomy' atmosphere that they create.
Have you heard the new album? (Not sure if it's released yet, just saw it listed on last.fm)

I think the new album is due out on the 27th. I know they're streaming a song called Like a Moth to Flame on their myspace page.

Distributor - Depth of Perception - 2009

https://distributor.bandcamp.com/album/depth-of-perception
For fans of Dream Theater. :neverusethis:
Both male and female vocals with big chunky riffs and cool keys. The vocals aren't so great.

Dwarf Planet's Richie Pony is available at: https://www.metalhead.ro/dp.html

It's a blend of metal, hardcore, punk, and everything pretty much. I only listened to one song, and it was okay, but I figured guys on here would enjoy it.

Well it SHOULD be the first time, because it's definitely against the rules. No links to pirated material, couldn't be clearer. Obviously a live clip or promo vid is fine, but when someone has just uploaded the mp3 of a song with the album art or some other lame fan made nonsense, that is piracy.

Ah, yeah that makes total sense. I definitely see where that fits into the rules.

BUT WHAT IF THE PIRACY IS JUST TO PROMOTE THE BAND?

So here's a thread where us poor people can share (legal) music we've found for free.

So far, I'm absolutely loving this. Think Periphery without the terrible vocals.
