Covet - Technicolor (Yvette Young)

Covet just released their follow up album. Fascinating release by these guys. Please check them out. For those unfamiliar with Covet, they are very young talented band led by Yvette Young. She is an extraordinaire guitar player and has a very unique style. Might be the album of the year for me.

EDIT: This is so good. Nero, Pirouette, and Ares is an awesome run of three songs.

I'll have to give this a listen. Yvette is an absolute monster but a lot of her music doesn't really connect with me in any meaningful way.

The new Covet album gets better for me with each listen. I was nervous about the retooled lineup, but there was no reason to be. Looking forward to seeing them tomorrow in Philly, also!
