WDADU is an unfortunate case, in that I like the songs on it, but that the studio album is fairly weak, largely because of the production. As well, while Charlie is a decent singer, he himself openly admits that the songs were beyond his range. WDADRU is definitely better than nothing, but I really wish they'd re-recorded the album in the studio during the IaW/Awake era, with better production and James in his prime, even if it had only ended up being a fanclub release or something.
I know there's supposedly an IaW era bootleg floating around out there with all of the WDADU songs performed live, but I've never been able to find it. I know Mike records pretty much everything the band does, and I will say, if he ever puts together an official bootleg with those songs from the IaW era, I would buy it in a second.
For SC, though it's probably my second least favorite DT album, I do like it. I went back and took another look at it recently. Regardless of what opinion one holds regarding it, they definitely tried some new things on it. The only song on it that I don't really like is TMOLS, and that's mainly because the base song and the instrumental break clash.
