Discolor that picture, change the word to the correct spelling and you get a perfect album cover for Kevin's next!

As Jim Matheos will now be busy with Fates Warning, I suppose a new OSI album will not be released soon. So, maybe a new CK album will happen?  ::)

Yeah. I'm wondering what Steve Tushar's been doing lately, I listened to this and it just blew my mind: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uLoiP0qfBns it's been more than ten years since Steve and Kev did an album together and I have the feeling it would be the best thing ever.

Also look out for the Lie remix on that youtube channel, it's awesome.

I can't listen to the song in your link right now, but the Lie remix is cool indeed.

Dead Rhetoric: Where are you going lyrically with “O, Chloroform?”

Alder: That’s a funny one. It’s Kevin Moore’s lyrics. Go back to the Arch/Matheos thing, which at one point were supposed to be the songs for the new Fates Warning album but I didn’t work on them as much as I should, Kevin, Jim, and myself were working on a song, one of which ended up on the Arch/Matheos record. He had written lyrics for that and they were unused, and when we were doing this song, I had my melody, and Jim said, “What about Kevin’s lyrics?” He gave them to me, and the melody was put together and it fit perfectly. It took some weight off my back. It’s such a cool song, but I have no idea what the hell he’s talking about.

Dead Rhetoric: It’s an unconventional song title, even for Fates Warning.

Alder: I know what you mean. I know what chloroform is, but I don’t know what he’s talking about [laughs]. I should ask him, and every time I ask Jim, he tells me to ask Kevin, but good luck finding him.

Dead Rhetoric: Where is he? In Turkey still?

Alder: He’s in America now; he’s going to be a doctor. He’s in his third year of medical school.

We knew he was in medical school, but I had no idea he kept up with it. That's... beautiful. Really. THANKS RAY FOR THE FACTS

Although I'm kind of sad that this will probably slow down the possible production of another CK album and make the chances of an OSI tour even smaller, it's great that he's found something to do. Hopefully he won't have too many crazy DT fans as his patients :lol

Someone posted this in a chroma key group on facebook.  Just wanted to share:

Quote from:  link=topic=1425.msg1684403#msg1684403 date=1380205302
There's been speculation that he was in med school, but this is the first confirmation of it, as far as i know.  Pretty cool.  One of my Chroma Key friends actually searched online and found a pic of Kevin at school from last year.  He's quite older than the other students, but you gotta respect him following his passion.  Hope he still finds time to release music here and there.  He such a talented guy.

No shit!? That's incredible. What an amazing man. Bwahaha, yeah those little bastards probably don't know that there's a musical genius standing behind them. GAHH! That would be so hilariously awesome. OH SHIT I THOUGHT THIS YEAR WAS GONNA SUCK BUT KEVIN MOORE! There might be a person or two that knows of him, but I doubt that in that little group that there's any hardcore CK/OSI/Moore fans.

...and here I am just delving back into the madness of old Moore works.  :heart :millahhhh :'( If he's truly going all the way with this medical deal, he might not even create a major piece of music again...

DTP says "WOW, LOOK AT THAT GREAT POST"

Other than the fact that they are polar opposite personalities...this reminds me a little bit of when David Lee Roth became an EMP.

Holy crap!  I had speculated that he was living in Iowa because it seemed so odd to record the latest OSI here unless there was a connection.  Also, the return address when I bought his solo album Shine was Des Moines.   I did a bit of searching myself but came up empty handed.  This whole freakin' time he was living 2 and 1/2 hours from me.  On one of the many occasions I would head to Des Moines, I should have invited him to get some BBQ at Jethros.

Anyone going to the Joilet, IL, show for Fates Warning on Nov. 15?  That's the closest one to Kevin's current whereabouts.  He might pop in to see Jim, Ray and Joey.
