The audio stops completely.  Starts again when I close the message.  I use GoSMS Pro and the Dolphin Browser.

It really doesn't matter the audio app, be it Pandora, Slacker, or WinAmp, they all stop.  Pandora quits if I hit the 'home' button.  Android doesn't make alot of sense to me.  No 2 apps work the same.

I really don't know what to say, I use GoSMS Pro, Pandora, WinAmp and FireFox and what you're describing has never happened to me.

The last update killed the weather app.  No longer allows me to check box the option to auto-update.  So, that effectively kills the clock/weather widget that is the staple of HTC Sense.

This phone is broken.  I think I will be better off with iPhone, if Sprint offers one after Apple's announcement next week.

Wait, are you accessing these services through the Dolphin Browser or through the actual app?  AFAIK, if you play audio within the browser, that goes away when you close the browser.

Okay, pretty sure I want to go with Samsung's Droid Charge.  4.3 LED screen (the rep said it's better on battery life), 4G, and the 1gHz processor.  All features which are miles beyond my current Motorola Droid.

I didn't close the browser as in quit... The SMS came in as a pop-up.  In the dolphin browser, i opened a new tab and the audio from the TWIT tab stopped.

Is this an issue with Android or Dolphin?

I have a Galaxy S Fascinate 3G+. When I'm listening to music using the stock media player, I almost always have my phone on vibrate.

Incoming txts don't stop the music. I can check it, and respond with the music still playing.

I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

I still haven't gotten 2.3 (or any update at all) on my HTC Wildfire. I'm stuck at 2.2.1 :(

Yes actually. I have an iPad and an Asus Transformer ( https://www.amazon.com/Transformer-TF101-A1-10-1-Inch-Tablet-Computer/dp/B004U78J1G/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1317242531&sr=8-1 )

I <3 my Transformer, it's great for my trading and reading books which is what I use it for.

If you have any questions about it let me know, I don't really know what to say other than it's my go to device, I don't touch my laptops and my iPad is at my moms because I wasn't using it at all.

Me neither, I'm on 2.2.3 (MyTouch 4G) and it's been well over a month since T-Mobile "sent 2.3 OTA".

One of my friends got this German tablet that has the exact same specs as the Xoom (apart from slightly lower res screen) for £150. It's, apparently, got a good modding community so he was able to get Honeycomb running on it and get it connected to the market.

Pretty cool.

it seems there a quite a few cheaper tablets with the same thing going, I'd be interested in doing that myself. Some people have tablets at work and it looks like quite a nice way of keeping stuff organised in a diary style set up. Considering that most of the output I generate is plots, having them pieced together on a device I take most places with me would be really handy.
It would also be great for watching porn

God damn the new keyboard on my droid x since the update is so annoying. It predicts phrases and just throws them into my text mesages.

it depends on the screen size. for example, with my samsung galaxy s2 it's actually much quicker to type with the keyboard in portrait mode over swype.

Seriously, you should try Swiftkey. It's amazing.

Edit: There's a free version now so you can't go wrong:

Funny how it happened. My friend and I decided to go on a family plan with Sprint. Unlimited everything, except mobile to landline (which is 1500 minutes), for 150 a month. Then, he has a 25% discount applied to the monthly bill because he works for American Airlines. We're paying less than 75 a month and that includes insurance. I just wish Otterbox would come out with a fucking case for the Sprint version already.

Haven't really understood why the fact that iOS is good makes Android sucks. To me, Android is the better Mobile OS (iOS seems more fluid though). But both are good. End of discussion.

Unless you're trolling. In that case, carry on.

It's a joke from the Apple thread. Basically i'm doing what others do in the apple thread. i could give a shit what mobile OS people use personally. I use what I like and I'm happy with it.
