Okay, I rarely listened to this album but I guess it's the only one I really ever knew from my birth year.

1991 Pearl Jam - Ten

Here it goes, for the 1991 people:

Chick Corea - Beneath The Mask
Frank Zappa - The Best Band You Never Heard In Your Life
Frank Zappa - Make A Jazz Noise Here
Guns 'n Roses - Use Your Illusion II
Meshuggah - Contradictions Collapse
Metallica - The Black Album
Mr. Bungle - Mr. Bungle
no-man - Days In The Trees

Seems like a good year to me.

on par with the anguish one would have from getting unconsensually bent over and buttloved.

This would probably be more helpful

Well, if you want to say which of the popular albums from your birth year are your favorites, but sometimes your favorites aren't always popular or chart-toppers.

If you flip through the first 10 pages or so, you're bound to find just about any album from that year you could think of offhand.

The year I was born, 1973, ruled:

'73 was damn good (you missed Yessongs, Tres Hombres, Aerosmith, Desparado), but '71 has to be the best for the Classic Rock era:

Zeppelin IV
Who's Next
LA Woman
Sticky Fingers
Aqualung
Imagine
Fragile
The Yes Album
Nursery Cryme
Meddle
Every Picture Tells A Story
Santana III
The Grateful Dead
Fireball

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
That's a word salad - and take it from me, I know word salad
I fear for the day when something happens on the right that is SO nuts that even Stadler says "That's crazy".

Okay, based on those two helpful links the only two albums from 1993 I really love are Pearl Jam's Vs and Bjork's Debut.
