1975 - There are some that had CLASSICS on them, but that I never listened to the whole album (Physical Graffitti, A Night at the Opera).  So I'll list the ones I HAVE listened to that I love:

Kiss - Alive
Fleetwood Mac - s/t
Rush - Fly by Night
....

Wish You Were Here....?

Well, to be fair, I didn't really start getting INTO music until the very late 80's/early 90's, so all the good stuff I missed out on, I had to go back and discover for myself.  I've never heard all of Wish You Were Here and I'm not really a big PF fan.  Most of my favorite albums came out in the 80's.  The three I listed from '75 were favorites, Kiss Alive being one of my all-time favorites.

1990:

Depeche Mode - Violator
Flaming Lips - In A Priest Driven Ambulance

That's all I could see that'd I'd be interested in.

Primus' first album

Frizzle Fry?

Go listen to it!

It's very Proggy/Zappa-ish.

Rush - Power Windows
Maiden - Live After Death

Me neither, but it's good nonetheless. Don't forget Metallica/The Black Album.

Looking at the Wiki article for "1984 in Music", here's what I see as albums I enjoy from that year...
1984   - Van Halen
"Weird Al" Yankovic in 3-D - "Weird Al" Yankovic
Fugazi - Marillion
Three Of A Perfect Pair - King Crimson
Grace Under Pressure - Rush
The Best Of Kansas - Kansas
The Unforgettable Fire - U2

And even though I've only seen the movie and don't own the album, This Is Spinal Tap by Spinal Tap should soon be owned by me because I find the movie HILARIOUS...

-Marc.

Spinal Tap - Spinal Tap
Metallica - Ride the Lightning
Madonna - Like a Virgin

There were a lot of great band releases that year, but these are really the ones I've heard.
