Eh. I don't care for Slayer or Anthrax and Megadeth isn't too great to me. On top of that Metallica have been sloppier than ever live. Not something I care to pay to see in a movie theater. Also, you don't get the whole set lists.

Sounds interesting. I´m not too familiar with the other bands but I´m sure the Metallica set will be killer. It´d be cool to see everybody standing up in a movie theater

All of this, awesome for the fifteen year-olds who wish they grew up in the 80s and the forty to fifty year-olds who wish they were fifteen and still in the 80s, though.

Haha yep, Slayer are just terrible live. Megadeth and Anthrax have still got it I think.

::) You're right, how is it that someone can actually like these bands and want to hear them live?!?

I guess I'm lucky enough that the whole festival with all four playing is here... Less than a month left! :caffeine:

I like how the trailer portrayed it as METALLICA and 3 other bands...

I didn't get that from the trailer at all. What are these 3 other bands of which you speak?

I've already seen Metallica live, and while they were better than I expected, I don't feel like I absolutely must see them again so soon.

So, basically, this tour stands out simply because I have yet to see Megadeth live, and to hopefully see Metallica play more than jsut Creeping Death off Ride the Lightning (which will probably never happen).

I like Anthrax too, but not as much as the others.

And as for Slayer, I'd probably only be interested in seeing them play "Raining Blood", and then leave, since I've never really cared for them.

I'd go for Megadeth, maybe. But I really have no interest in live metallica, Slayer had a few good albums, but their last 2-3 or so have been pretty bad. I've never liked Anthrax.

Just amazing.  DT should count their lucky stars that some of their fans are at this level of unconditional cult worship.

I thought Metallica were awesome live when I saw them. A few mistakes for sure but they sounded great and they know how to put on a truly epic show   :metal

I'd certainly want to see the actual concert.  This theater thing seems like a waste of $20.  It's not live.  It's not the complete sets.  It's not a real concert.

While checking out the company that's putting this on, I did find that they broadcast the entire Metropolitan Opera season now.  That actually would be pretty cool.  I'll probably check one or two of those out.

This actually would be pretty cool for those of us not attending the Big Four shows. I would go if it wasn't a day that I had prior plans.

I got my tickets last month, and I'm hoping my finals will be over by then. I'm wondering how general admission will work in a theater. They can't really remove the seats... will it be up in the area in front of the screen??

Even though it might be impossible, there's a part of me that still wants Metallica and Megadeth to get together onstage and perform "The Four Mechanix" live ;D

James would be fine, as would Rob. I doubt Lars could keep up.
