"Is that Dream Theater?"
« on: May 19, 2010, 06:57:12 PM »
I thought that I remembered a video clip of John Petrucci playing a song on a guitar in a shop, and the guy next to him goes "Is that Dream Theater?" in which John (amused as hell) replies "Yes. It is." and laughs.

Can someone tell me where this is from?

I've seen all those moments in that video, but it definitely inspired me to go back and watch all the commentaries on my DVDs :lol

They're so funny when they're commentating, hopefully the next live DVD has it.

I love the Live at Budokan documentaries. Visually beautiful, and hilarious to boot - even better than commentaries. I bought LAB when I was first getting into the band, I think the docs were part of what sealed the obsession. I remember spending an entire afternoon going through each one consecutively, and getting a bit upset when I knew I was reaching the last one - like when you're nearing the end of a brilliant book. Fantastic.

I don't know, I've always found the latter guy to be rather annoying than funny.
