She is extremely attractive. However, her music isn't, imo.

Who?

Synthpop singer-songwriter. I'm guessing most people here wouldn't like her, though I know there are a few fans around.

Links to a song for a sampling?

Is this anything like Eisley? I adore them.

That would sound way better without the subtle autotune (or whatever effect it is).

Yep, it's my biggest gripe with her stuff. Especially since she's actually a good singer, I'm not sure why she's covering that up with the autotune. It's not on all of her stuff, but still.

Sigz, you took my advice.  :heart

This girl is adorable, and her personality shines through in her music in a way that makes me fall in love with her every time I listen to one of her songs.

On the subject of the autotuing in "Saviour"...

I saw an interview with her where she was asked about it.  And she said it was frustrating that people immediately assume she can't sing when they hear the autotune.  Her reasoning for using the effect was that the verses of the song speak to feeling restrained and constricted, and the autotune helps the music actually feel restrained.  Then on the chorus, when she's singing about breaking free, she drops the autotune and lets the melody free.  Which I thought was pretty much the best possible explanation anyone could have for that.  So it used to bother me, but now that I know the reason, I actually like the song better because of the autotune.

I still don't like it though. I dislike autotune because I don't like the way it sounds, not because of some principle regarding musical ability.

edit:

definitely no autotune  :metal

Holy shit that was awesome. She's so in to it too, it's infectious.

I don't really like her studio stuff so far, but her acoustic material is great from what I've heard. I'll definately be picking up the acoustic album. By far my favourite song by her is this one, her voice gives me goosebumps every time

At first I didn't care for the acoustic EP because it's extremely mellow and laidback, but it's grown on me. Her youtube covers are better than the covers on the album, but Romance Is is an absolutely beautiful song, and if you're in the mood for more mellow acoustic stuff the entire album is great. Definitely recommend it.
