« on: May 13, 2010, 01:29:55 PM »
In response to the Epic Songs thread,

What are your favorite short songs (2.5 minutes or shorter)?

Mine are
The Offspring - Leave It Behind
Siam Shade - Monkey Science
In high school my buddies and I built a Van Der Graaf generator.  You know, to get girls.

I don't think I could possibly make a list as I have no idea which songs I listen to are of that length.  The ones I thought of first were still up around 3 minutes.  How do you people remember this stuff?  Are you using sort functions on playlists or something?

On the Breath of Poseidon by Symphony X and Welcome to Entropia by Pain of Salvation.

Wait for Sleep by DT.

Edit: Uhm wait, On the Breath of Poseidon is too long. Change that to Transcendence.

Also, The Happiest Days of Our Lives by Pink Floyd. That beat is just  :hefdaddy

You got it right with "The Spider".  One of the greatest short songs/instrumentals ever!!!!   I actually have it as my ringtone!!

Speaking of Kansas, I just saw them open up for Styx and Foreigner (I only paid $10 so it was decent for the money), and I was actually bored by Kansas.  I am a huge Kansas fan, but they were just going through the motions.  It was kinda sad.
