Recording question
« on: May 13, 2010, 09:16:21 AM »
I've got two MIDI sockets on my amp (I and O), and an M-Audio Midi I/O to USB cable to connect this to my computer.

Is it possible to record on my computer using this?

I'm assuming you mean a guitar amp. MIDI can't carry an audio signal, so no.

What amp model is it?

Flextone II

But that answers my question. I couldn't find it written anywhere online!

Yeah I'm pretty sure the MIDI I/O on that amp is just for editing tones via computer.

Look for tutorials 49-51, those are tutorials I made on how I personally do it. I don't know if it applies to you...
Funny thing is that I just showed the same link to a guy who had the same problems on the topic below :lol

That looks quite interesting. I'll have to check it out when I'm at home. Cheers!
