The album I listened to Most from Korn was Take A Look In The Mirror. I enjoyed the heavyness of it. Of course it has some shit like the Nas song and Y'all Wanna Single but from what I remember, the other songs were pretty cool. Don't give two shits about this band anymore though. Other than a select few singles, I never cared much for them.

Thoughtless and Alone I Break have this cool weird mood to it that I like. Something about Untouchables' mood and atmosphere. I might be the only one who really doesn't like their older stuff, I prefer Issues onward. I still like songs from those albums just not as much

What is with the general hate towards Untitled?

Korn have released 8 good albums and 1 bad one. Untitled is the bad one.

1. It just sounds bad.

That's it. For some reason it doesn't click with me at all.

Issues is my favourite and I'd consider it their best work.  Tremendous, mature, great songs all the way through.

Bumping because I listened to them for the first time last week, and now I'm on I think the fourth listen of their debut. KoRn's a good album.

Damn right it is!

If it's all you've listened to though, you definitely need to listen to Follow the Leader, Issues, and Untouchables.

There's only so much whining I can take and 4 albums was about right for me.
However they did give metal a shot in the arm that it needed, really liked them originally but it all started to sound the same after Issues...and yes I really like Issues as an album.

On to Life Is Peachy tonight, and it's a pretty cool album. Definitely an evolved breed of the debut considering this album set foot into waist deep nu-metal territory.

Never owned an album but love the stuff I've heard over the years.  Gotta love Jonathan Davis though, always loved his work on Queen of the Damned which I've been into since I was an angsty teen.  Angsty teens seem to like QOTD.

Yup QOTD was amazing. It sucks he couldn't sing on the Soundtrack and Film, because his vocals on Forsaken are 10x more haunting than David Dramin(sp?) From Disturbed, and the Orgy guy.

So, according to Wikipedia, KoRn's next album 'X' sounds like it might be somewhat of a nu-metal/dubstep crossover affair. How does everyone feel about this? Just to take the conversation in a bit of a new direction. :)

^While I may be disgusted I sure as shit can't say I'm surprised. They should probably quit the drugs so they can stop soiling the legacy they barely even had in the first place and merely live off the millions they've likely already made. Untouchables sure seems like their proper swansong imo.

Fine. Whatever. As long as it's good, or at least has a few catchy songs, I don't care what they breed their genre with. Korn III may have been the most awful album I heard last year. Hell, even the untitled album had two tracks I liked, but last years had nothing.

I like the song they did with Skrillex. It wasn't great, but it was enjoyable. I think a dubstep crossover album just might work. Their style is already suited for it. So why not. They have every right to experiment, let them do it.

Oh, no no, I agree completely. I'm one of the fanbase who actually enjoyed Untitled a hell of a lot. I thought it was a bold experiment and it came off really well... and in the same spirit I'm actually looking forward to hearing what this thing sounds like. I thought Get Up was incredibly catchy. I can see how a lot of fans would look at this with a wary eye, though.

I enjoyed Hold On. And Oildale kicked ass live. Their new song with Skrillex was pretty good too, although the music video made me laugh.
