GUYS
HEY GUYS
GUYS I'VE GOT IT
IT'S ALL WRITTEN

A7X ALBUM W/PORTNOY
IS CALLED NIGHTMARE

PORTNOY WAS IN DREAM THEATER

NIGHTMARE
AND
DREAM
THEATER

IT WAS WRITTEN ALL ALONG
HE EVEN USED RAISE THE KNIFE TO ANNOUNCE IT 13 YEARS AGO
WHEN NIGHTMARE CINEMA ENDED
HE HAD TO CHOOSE BETWEEN DREAMS AND NIGHTMARES
FOR HE HAD NO CONTROL OVER ONE OF THEM ANYMORE

AND HE CHOSE NIGHTMARE
THAT'S WHY HE'S HAVING SO MUCH SHIT RIGHT NOW
BECAUSE NIGHTMARES
AND ITPOE
IS A PREDICTION OF HIM SELLING HIS SOUL TO A7X
AND THEN RETURNING TO DT BECAUSE HE DOESN'T FIGHT FOR THEM

AND KEVIN MOORE WANTED TO DO A CONCEPT ALBUM
BUT HE COULDNT
BECAUSE OSI
AND STUFF

IT WAS TEH CONSPIRACY GUYS DON'T YOU GET IT????

Now seriously: listening to These Boots right now. Sounds good, man. May be one of the best tracks of the album after Skull Beneath the Skin, Mechanix and Last Rites/Loved to Deth

I remember when Countdown came out and I loved this album. Youthenasia was an excellent followup and Cryptic Writings was pretty good, but not all that great when compared to their last three. Then Risk comes out and oh boy did I throw that Cd away faster than any other. And I figured it was a one-off. So I buy TWNaH and I said I was done with Megadeth. Two in row of absolute garbage. I could not stand any of the songs although I find 1000 Times goodbye to be hilarious. So when TSHF came out I skipped it. But I heard from a few people that it was just as good as Rust in Peace. So after thinking about it, I buy the album, and HOLY S-H-I-T were they right. TSHF surpasses excellence in my opinion. It's balls to the wall Megadeth and everything about it just kicks ass. So I had my faith newly restored in Megadeth and picked up UA immediately. And again... sour disappointment. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. UA is right up there with the worst of Megadeth. But if TSHF brought Megadeth back well then I should give them another try again like before and I bought their new one Headcrusher. It's better than UA, but it's forgettable. Very forgettable.

Right now, I'm at the same place I was when TWNaH came out. I may check them out again, but I'm not buying the album immediately.

Yeah, I'd be disappointed too if I bought an album that just had Headcrusher on it. But hey, at least Endgame was a fucking sweet album.

Let's talk about Davo's new book. I just got into the Metallica chapter, the book is great so far.

Who else is reading it? Who's enjoying it, etc.

Is it just me, or is the mix on Countdown to Extinction just mid-scooped and over-compressed to death?

I don't like the production on it that much. Its a great album, but the production isn't that great imo
