Just downloaded the autobiography onto my Kindle app and am enjoying it immensely so far.  I've been waiting for Dave to write this book for a while, and it looks like it's not going to disappoint.

So I take it you won't be seeing him on his signing tour? :loser:

No. You obviously underestimate the gravity of the situation.
Orion....that's the one with a bunch of power chords and boringly harsh vocals, isn't it?

Can we agree probably the best debut album from any of the big 4?

Without a shadow of a doubt. Miles ahead of Fistful of Metal. Decent gap between it, Kill 'Em All, and Show No Mercy.

And all the more impressive when you consider Mustaine contributed almost half of Kill 'Em All as well.

Show No Mercy doesn't have "Looking Down the Cross" so it's not THAT tight. ;)

The band was excellent tonight. Truly one of the tightest outfits in the genre right now...although Dave's vox are a bit whack. No one really listens to them for his impressive range though anyway.

I also enjoyed Slayer more than Megadeth when I saw them. I'm not a fan of Chris Broderick(way too mechanical, every solo was spot on, but lacked any type of feeling), or Mustaine's new vocals(or lack thereof). Slayer, on the other hand, sounded exactly the same as they always have and were amazing.

I agree that Dave's voice was in decline, but I still enjoyed it live. I also think Chris is great (although I'm not a guitar player so I lack the understanding of every little thing he does or doesn't do). But Slayer was just... fantastic. They were SUPER tight, and SUPER fast, which made for an incredible performance. The stage show was also awesome. Thirty eight amps on stage = :2metal:.

Eh, I enjoy Slayer, but...I mean...there was little to no life on that stage when they played. I know Tom's neck is fucked so he can't headbang, but Kerry and Jeff just kinda traded places every ten minutes and that was it. The most entertaining member was Dave and he's stuck behind a giant drum kit all night. Plus...Kerry goes out of tune from all his whammy wankery and doesn't even have the sense to tune up between songs. That makes me cringe. Plus I hate their tone on the last few records and they keep that live. Far too dry.
It was great to see Seasons in its entirety, but if I see'em again, I'd like a varied set with a good mix of tracks. No Disciple made me sad.

Yeah, Dave easily made the show. Especially during his drum breaks. Kerry King did his usual headbanging, Tom couldn't really do anything, and Hanneman kinda just stood there. But 'twas awesome.

Picture was before Headcrusher I bet.

Show was awesome. Missed Testament. :( Megadeth was pretty cool. Dave can't sing anymore. His snarles are there though. Slayer was...well...Slayer. I was actually too far right to see Lomardo, or the crosses. I noticed those from watching videos of the show. It was great though because Kerry King threw me a pick! :metal

Seasons: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3fIvHRrRQhg

Angel of Death: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=efoMmYXvIXI

I also bought a Slayer shirt which was totally badass and a boot outside which is even more badass.

Yeah, WTF was with Testament starting early at every show it seems? I got on the floor for their last song. Standing outside, they started at least ten minutes earlier then scheduled. I was so bummed, as Testament is my favorite of the 3 bands.

Oh, and Dave Ellefson is one of the sweetest, coolest, most down to earth guys I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Very humble, and he deserves the Megadeth paycheck.

Probably not, considering he's not wearing his guitarmor. It looks more like what he did right before his final bow.

Was just watching the proshot of Rock in Rio 2010, Chris Brodrick is a monster, he plays the solos so acurate to the album versions, I haven't been this happy about a Megadeth line-up since Menza was gone, I hope current Megadeth line-up stays to the end.

It's not even close to Kill 'Em All. What are you talking about?

Winger Theater Forums........or WTF.  ;D
TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol
