And I think Robert Trujillo made a big difference and got the guys to up their enthusiasm to make music.

Oh I totally agree and have said this before.  Trujillo is old school and they really can't look him in the eye and mail it in.
would have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related
Winger Theater Forums........or WTF.  ;D
TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

Good on Junior for going after them. If I remember this correctly, when this broke the woman said she taped him without his knowledge or consent and then she shared it with a friend in confidence. That friend then leaked the video along with making the grooming allegations and such. The woman said she was pissed with the friend as she never intended this to go public.

If that is the case, all they should have to do is interview the woman and have her give up the name of the friend.
beul ni teh efac = Lube In The Face / That has to be wrong.  :lol / EDIT: Oh, it's Blue! I'm an idiot.
Pardon the interruption, but I just had to run in and celebrate the majesty of Lube in the Face as highest moment in roulette history

They can't look him in the eye anyway, with that crab walk thing he does.  Newsted's neck is toast, and Trujillo's knees are soon to be toast.

Screen recording. All they have to do is record their screen and watch the videos of him busting into the camera.

Or couldn't it be as simple as recording her screen with another camera?

Situation does suck for Ellefson.  Being what it is, I'd seriously like to see Dan Lilker get the call.  Or Fleasting.

I wonder who will replace him for the tour and going forward?

My money is on Sting or Flea.

My guess is that it'll be your fellow countryman Felipe Andreoli, due to his connection with Kiko. It'd probably be just the tour though. I don't see him ditching Angra.

Out of all the members that have ever been in Metallica, Dave Mustaine is by far the most interesting and controversial character. Yes, he comes across as a self-serving asshole, but whenever he spoke, it was way more intriguing and pointed than anything Lars, Kirk or James ever had to say. Not to mention the music and lyrics he writes, which are full of the snark and satire that tweaked your sensibilities, qualities that just aren't there in Metallica's music.

And therein lies the real reason I believe that Mustaine was booted from Metallica... that fantastically outsized ego. Of course this is all speculation, but I got the sense that Lars and James didn't want such a strong personality in their midst, and ended up using the alcohol abuse as a facile excuse to cut him loose. As good a guitarist/songwriter as Mustaine might have been, he was kind of a threat, whereas Kirk Hammett slotted much more easily into the vision that Lars and James had for the band.

I own all the Megadeth albums to 'World Needs a Hero' which I thought was pretty crap, I don't think I've heard a single song after that.
I know must fans consider Rust, Countdown and Peace Sells as their strongest albums, but 'Youthanasia' was always my favorite.

If ever there was an album to prove what Marty Friedman was talking about when he left the band, and referred to Megadeth's metal as "gun metal grey", it was that slab of mediocrity.

I think you're missing out by not giving anything else since a go. Things get patchy after Marty left but I think The System Has Failed, Thirteen and Dystopia are all pretty solid efforts. Endgame is decent, but I would avoid United Abominations and Supercollider.

Yeah, I was obviously joking about Sting and Flea. Felipe seems like a good choice, but maybe the simplest thing to do is to bring back James Lomenzo.

In this case when two people are webcamming with each other, one person could have been on a regular computer. That person could have been recording their screen (there are many software applications that allow you to record your screen) without the other person ever knowing it was being recorded on the other end.

Personally if you're doing that kind of stuff I'd automatically assume everything gets recorded.

It's a circle of stupidity.

Why a famous almost 60 years old dude engages on video with a young girl?
Why a young girl tries to be a virtual groupie? it's not the '80s anymore....
And why someone distributes sexual videos of ANYONE, let alone a FAMOUS musician? really, it's already stupid to do it with literally anyone, but with a famous person?? what did he expect???
I use my sig to pimp some bands from Italy! Check out Elvenking (Power / Folk metal), Folkstone (Rock / Medieval metal), Arcana Opera (Gothic/Noir/Heavy metal) and the beautiful voice of Elisa!

Gotta earn money somehow.   He was very vocal about having to give up his ownership in Megadeth to rejoin in 2010, becoming a salaried employee of the band.  He made less money, but was happier overall.

I'm wondering if the pandemic and lack of band activity for a full year hurt him enough financially that he started talking about it to Dave (to explain the strained relationship).  He did do some solo tours last year when he put out that Ellefson cover record, but it's not like those shows will earn a ton of money.
