Risk is really good. Not sure if I'd say it's awesome, but it gets way too much shit. Definitely a bunch of good songs on it.

and I say that as someone who has Megadeth on 1000+ plays on Last.FM.

i have to disagree and say this doesn't mean anything.

You're right, it doesn't mean anything when you pull it completely out of its relevant context

Listening to UA right now thanks to this thread.  It is better than I remembered.

No, I'm LCArenas.

I don't know, but I sure hope it's better than Endgame. Album has aged REALLY bad for me over this years.

So, the new album has Black Swan (from UA special edition), Sudden Death (from Guitar Hero 6), Millennium of the Blind (from Youthanasia remaster), and New World Order (also from Youthanasia remaster).

How can bands get away with that in this day and age?

If you look into it more,  Black Swan and New World Order are completely re recorded and he said they sound completely different from the originals, and Millennium of the Blind has a lot added so it's practically a new song.
Also, I'm liking Public Enemy No. 1.  This album looks to be better than Endgame which I'm not the fondest of.

Hm, I can't decide what I want. New World Order is one of their best songs, so changing it would be a huge mistake.

Why can't we just have all new music?

Anyways, its still 9 new songs.  Thats usually the standard number of new songs on a lot of metal records today anyways.

Heck, for Opeth that'd be a double album.

Millennium Of the Blind was a bonus track on Youthanasia, something is not right.
November 1st was confirmed on the deth forum by someone fromthe band I don't remember who.
The cover is slightly less awful than Endgame but still a complete and utter disappointment when compared to any of their album cover arts from KIMB to UA (Yes even UA) and it's not the concept at all; it's the quality and the execution of the drawing in general. The raw vibe that made previous Megadeth cover arts so morbid has been replaced on the 13 and Endgame with a very computerized vibe.
I wouldn't want somebody with 18 kids to mow my damn lawn, based on a longstanding bias I have against crazy fucks.
