True.  Although, I've really grown to love the second half of the album a lot more than I used to.  I'd put both albums in my top 3.

For some reason Whoracle doesn't grab me like the rest of their classic material. Hated RtR upon first listen but my opinion has been improving a lot lately. Lunar Strain is their only album I don't like, and haven't even listened to that one much. One of my favorite bands.

The only thing I would change is that Clayman/Colony/Reroute/Clarity are all pretty much ever, and ASOP>Soundtrack

Honestly, as much as I love the band, I have accused them of this with every album since RTR.  I'm not saying that's a bad thing though.

So the album came out this week and I've listened to it on Spotify 3 times now, really really digging it! I'd say it's their best since RtR, slightly edging out Come Clarity for two reasons: (1) the sound quality is much nicer, and (2) while the album does suffer from the usual IF-album-dragging-a-bit factor, where this album succeeds is in the fact that some of the later songs are a little different. It drags a little just after the middle of the album, but then comes back full force with some more unusual stuff towards the end. Whereas Come Clarity starts amazingly but then just tails off a bit and gets a little samey.

Really unusual track. No obvious musical reference to the other Jester songs. It has a spoken word part, and then the rest is very electronic. Definitely not what I expect from IF, but I actually really dig it.

A New Dawn is really an awesome track. I'd say top 10 IF songs probably.
