If its good, its good... I dont really care if Muse and Radiohead are similar.

i used to compare Muse to Radiohead, and for some reason that made me like them less

then i realized they both kick ass and no one gives a shit

I'm not sure if Muse is "way WAY" better than Radiohead, but I basically agree with Nick.  Radiohead is excellent, but I like Muse just a bit more.

30 second clips of every song are now on Itunes. Sounds pretty damn good.

Title track sounds awesome.

Overall, I'm getting a pretty poppy vibe from this.

If this is not better than BH&R then i'm gonna be really disappointed in this band.

This is a very weird sounding album so far.  Half of it seems like its going to be the "Supermassive Black Hole" + Queen, the other half sounds like epic symphonic stuff, esp. ExoGenesis.  I thought, after reading a bunch of Bellamy interviews, that it was supposed to be more of the latter.  I haven't even heard it yet and I'm not sure this album knows what it wants to be!  :lol

Truth.
But either way, it's great to see Muse going in their own direction and trying new things.
I'll love it, so can't wait for September.

Muse is average and highly overrated.

*runs*

*pokes head back in*

Also, WTF is with the comparison between Muse and Radiohead?  They are absolutely nothing alike.

I used to worship muse. Still think the stuff I loved back then is great, but don't listen to them as much anymore. The new album, however, is a huge massive letdown for me.

This, really.  I've only listened to it once so far, but I just don't know what to think yet.

Can anyone tell me what woodwind instrument was used in I Belong to You?  I think its a clarinet but I'm not sure.

If or when this album leaks or is "shared", it will not be discussed here. You may discuss the material, but that is all.

Oh, I have no intentions of canceling my pre-order, but it is nice to see people being excited by what they hear, as opposed to this so far...

I totally agree.  I was really pumped for this album and now I'm feeling like maybe I was being too optimistic.

I guess I'll find out when I buy it.

This.

Especially since I bought a 60 dollar ticket for a Muse show months ago.

Listening to it right now. The Queen influences are quite big, especially in "The united states of eurasia".

Yeah that's true. And the show (and my company) were actually the biggest reasons to go and see them.

I mean, they'll still play Stockholm Syndrom live. I hope  :metal
