Sounds great indeed! Not expecting Muse to be my AOTY though, there are just too many of my all time favorites coming with new material.

People still expect that? I knew there were some rumors and all, but considering Bruce's health (who seems to be doing great) I am not expecting much this year.

Apparently they'd already finished recording the album before Bruce was diagnosed and they're just sitting on it while he recuperates. I could see it still coming out this year, provided his recovery goes smoothly.

A little predictable, perhaps, but then it is the single.

I dig it a lot. Somewhat of an Uprising vibe, but more rocking. Fantastic sound as well, really beefy!

Pretty underwhelmed by that tune.  I hope that chatter and whatnot in the background is mostly just for the video and not in the real song, especially at the beginning.

Regardless, I have faith that Muse will deliver another good album. :hat

This. It's a step in the right direction (at least there's no dubstep) but it didn't really grab me. The lyrics/drill sergeant shtick were really off-putting.

Hope this won't be a meh album like The 2nd Law.

I listened to it once and honestly had no interest in listening again. I'll obviously give it another chance when the album comes out, but I'm very underwhelmed by the single. Unfortunately a lot of that has to do with the lyrics.

Very similar sentiments. The riff is nice I suppose, and it's bagnin', but nothing stood out for me. The lyrics in particular feel so one-dimensional and nothing that Muse haven't already covered ground on.

I haven't really listened to any new Muse material since The Resistance (I was pretty disappointed with it), but I enjoyed Psycho for the most part. The Drill Sergeant seemed unnecessary and I hope it's not on the album version, but otherwise I liked the song.

Ok after a few spins, here is what I thibk: I like it. It's nice to have a song to don't take seriously, it's like the "Dark Eternal Night" of Muse's carreer. I think it does its job pretty well.

I really liked 'Psycho', listened to it three times and now.. I have the feeling I already got everything from it for some reason. I can play the entire song in my head after only three spins, without having the desire to actually listen to it again.. weird!

OMG yeah.  And I thought the samples in "The Great Debate" were awful.  If these are on the album I'm not sure this is a song I'm going to want to listen to much.
