Never mind, I had 6:00 recorded, but for some reason the video was freezing and was all screwy. So I tried rerecording and My computer wasn't letting me hear the song while I was playing. So I will record it on Monday or Tuesday depending on when the computer wants to stop being an asshole.

Absolutely impressive for the short practice time.

Of course the groove isn't always steady, but that wasn't to expect in my opinion. Can't wait to see your 6:00 cover.

well. i ahev 6:00 recorded. It is not nearly as good as constant motion. but i didn't practice it as much. And it is a hard song =D. i will upload in a few minutes. Should be ready for you guys in like 15 to 30 minutes.

EDIT fuck it. I am redoing it tomorrow. The one I just did sucked and My computer is being an asshole again. i amseriously getting pissed off here. I will do it tomorrow.

Just finished. Audio quality sucks ass because my motherfucking computer wouldn't recognize the motherfucking microphone. Sorry, but I am so beyond pissed off right now because this is like the 100th time I have fucked up because of my damn computer. So I am keeping this one. i don't care how bad the damn quality is. I really liked them both. With "Constant Motion" you could listen where you the groove was lost but you handled it pretty well and I was pleasantly surprised with what I heard. I asked Dimi what he thought and we pretty much agreed with the grade. Good pull off!

"6:00" suffered to a higher extend the lack of "grooviness" (yeah, I invented that word) that you handled much better with "Constant Motion". You can have all the excuses you want about why the first one came better, but overall, as if I can pinpoint what you have to work on -from a not-a-drummer view- is the feeling. Loose yourself a bit. Get into the songs. Enjoy the moment; it may not sound absolutely perfect but the overall sound will be enjoyed not only by you but by the listener as well. You were focusing too much following MP's lead. Loose yourself a bit, like you did in some parts of CM and you'll playing will improve substantially. Having said all of that, of course, IMHO.

Are you sure of the 2.125? I personnaly would tend to go with a 2.124...

I gotta agree with Emin about you being too stiff while playing 6:00. This is coming from a fellow drummer, you thought about the song too much while playing it. You didn't see very comfortable playing it compared to Constant Motion.

Always try to feel comfortable with the songs, when one is thinking too much about the drum parts (what's coming next, gotta be ready) one tends to mess up and/or the songs ends up with no grooviness (thanks Emin,

) to it.
