dude.  I don't think I can learn honor thy father in time.  I would, but thats learning a 10 minute song in one week, and I still gotta learn the res of constant motion.  I will sill do two songs, but maybe do something from awake, or something like that.  or just a shorter song.  because it is not possible to learn a dream theater song of 10 minutes long in one week, especially if I don't listen to it.

Not trying to complain, but I just don't think I can do it.
Please reply as soon as possible,

Besides "The Silent Man", which song from Awake is the hardest to play with the drums?

lol.  If I am being serious, then 6:00 is the hardest.  Or erotomania.  I would rather do Erotomania, but it is up to you.  UNless you want me to just try honor thy father.  But There is almost 100% guarantee I will fail miserably.

The point of these tasks is to make you a better person. That you really gain something from this experience.

Yeah, play "6:00", then. 95% of accuracy.

Oh. And just because you are turning down my valid tasks, here's a penalty for you. Write a 200 word short essay telling us what is sarcasm, when do you know someone is using it, and the common reasons why people never seem to get when they are being fooled around.

K.  I'll try to learn 6:00.  and, dammit i'm not writing another essay. =D.  I will play the songs though.
EDIT:  Yeah, 6:00 is a lot more realistic, I just air drummed it [I know that isn't a good way to know if you can play something, but it gives you an idea of if you know what to hit], and I got it pretty good.  I began playing constant motion today, And I have the beginning of the impossible part down pretty good.  Tomorrow I have A field trip to an amusement park, and I will stay there all day, so no practicing it tomorrow.  I will post the videos on monday, if I can't upload them monday, I will upload them tuesday.

No kidding on both parts here.  Geez, the point of this thread was to mildly and humourously abuse the kid all in good fun.  The essay was a good challenge (given his historical grammar issues).  The photo challenge was original and creative.  Drumming is a good challenge since that's his instrument of choice.  But c'mon, they need to be reasonably achievable.  10 EPIC challenges that everyone is wanting to make harder and more epic every round is going to ruin this for everyone.  My interest is already starting to wane.

yeah, just dont worry about trynig to make your task the hardest ever.  You just gotta make something mildly challenging, and make sure that it is possible.  Because I do have a life, and I'm not spending all my time for the next 7 weeks doing tasks. =D
I will work on them when I can, but that isn't my main focus in life.
So your challenge is good emindead, and the two challenges i completed before were good, lets just keep them all like this.

Oh ok.  Because from what I gather, everyone's making the little kid do a bunch of more or less pointless tasks to have the honor of being...the official little kid.  Or something.  Did I get that right?

I agree with this 100%. Imposing playing the two hardest DT songs on drums as a challenge is bull and takes all the fun out of this contest which was supposed to be fun and a little tongue-in-cheek (regarding icysk8er's grammar/spelling issue which is mostly gone). Sorry emin, but it seems that you either haven't understood the point of this thread or that you are way too ambitious at coming up with the most epic challenge, which, by the way, isn't the point of it either.

Lol, well, right now, constant motion is doing ok.  I have like, half of the crazy part down.
other than the intro, chorus, and pre-chorus, 6:00 is pretty much a trainwreck.  I think I can get it up a little though by monday/tuesday.  I will just practice the hell out of them.  Doesn't help that my wrists hurts from baseball.

Guys, I just finished recording the constant motion cove.  It is pretty awesome for one week.  I will upload it now, but I think youtube will take it off because of the wmg copyright.  So I will have to mess around with it a little, maybe trim the beginning off.  I will post it here when it is finished.  I will record the 6:00 cover tonight too.
