I'm currently listening to it and the Bass line in "IV. A Man Can Feel" is really standing out to me for some reason.

Is that Portnoy singing in the chorus of "Set Us Free"? Sounds really good; that is one of my favorite tracks.

Anybody listened to the songs on the bonus disc yet? How are they (particularly the original ones)?

That is MP singing in the chorus in "Set Us Free". And actually, nearly all of his vocal moments on this album are really good!

Also, the TA originals on the bonus disc are pretty good. I enjoy "Spinning" and "For Such A Time", which uses one of the main "Whirlwind" themes. "Lenny Johnson" is a quaint and short interesting tune, very TFK-ish, while Pete's "Lending A Hand" is a bit of a grower for me. It started out sounding VERY repetitious and boring, but it's getting a bit more interesting as I listen to it more.

The covers are particularly enjoyable! I love the "I Need You" medley and MP's vocal performance on "A Salty Dog" is pretty good!

The best cd store in the Netherlands of course: Plato.

But you're from Maastricht aren't you? I guess the nearest plato is in Utrecht for you

Nearly finished listening for the first time btw, and what an incredible record this is. Some wonderful melodies, great solo's, Neal vocals are the best he's ever done, the song itself needs some time for me, which is normal, for a 77 minute song

I think this album is great. Initial reaction from some people, having listened to the demo, wasn't that positive. I don't understand them. It's much better than they make it out to be.

We ordered from Radiant and nothing yet. But the postal office around here sucks so hard, stuff notoriously takes 1-3 more days than it should, getting to us. We didn't have that problem when we lived in other parts of this town. Bah.
