I love Transatlantic. It'll be great to hear those guys come out with something new. I am a huge Neal Morse fan. I'm really really excited for the new Shadow Gallery CD coming out on November 3rd in the states as well. I'm gonna get both! It's gonna be an awesome month for us prog fans

I remember when I got "Bridge Across Forever" and actually hated it the first couple listens...just like Spock's Beard Snow. But as time past I kept trying to listen to it and it really grew on me. What your guys impressions? It was pretty much my first prog-rock album

I loved Bridge Across Forever at my first listen but took a while to get into SMPT. I still prefer Bridge Across Forever, by far, but SMPT is great too.

I've heard.... less than stellar things. Like, apparently the album/song just meanders a lot and never really develops any main catchy theme/leitmotif, ala their other songs.

I dunno. I'll still get the album, but.... this isn't just "The Third Transatlantic Album." This is, "The Song That Comes After Stranger In Your Soul." That's a tough act to follow.

I'd be more than happy to be proven wrong.

I can't imagine this being anything less than spectacular myself... and until I hear otherwise that's what I'm assuming it's going to be.

There is just too much potential in this band not to turn out something amazing.

Pretty much. Everyone else looks like an older prog guy. Even though MP is in his 40's, he looks younger and more metal.
