I know part of the solo, but not well enough that I'd feel comfortable playing it. Don't really plan on learning it.

I get that. But obviously someone who can play the rhythm parts from Tornado that cleanly would have at least some decent chance to get that solo down over the course of a few months.

I've never practiced anything for a few months for a long, long time. When I first started playing I would, but now any song I've wanted to learn; I grasp after going over it a few times.

I don't think I'd have the patience to practice something for a few months, and go over the little nuances of every bend, slide, phrase etc...

TBH, I won't lose sleep over it if I don't know the ToS solo.  ???
