What was it? I can't view eBay at school.

Perhaps that promo cd has the elusive "real" ending to Raw Dog -- before the fadeout/cut-off -- the one with voices from the game or whatever.  Still a hefty price tag, though.  To spend almost 500.00 on something DT-related, the band would have to agree to perform annual 'Evening With' shows at my house until they retire.

Well, Zep, remember what the Wither EP was originally going for on Ebay?

Were you the guy who outbid the $485?

Yeah, but I don't think it hit $485.  Also, as ridiculous as that was, at least it made a LITTLE more sense, as the EP was more like a rare official release with cover art and everything.  Sounds silly, but that sort of stuff usually makes a big difference.  Much more surprising to see a promo acetate (that's probably on a CD-R) going for that much $$.

Were you the guy who outbid the $485?

Lol... no.  $485 was the ending price.  I didn't even bid on it.  This was the first one to go up on eBay, and its generally pretty silly to put in a bid the first time around, as the first one always seems to go for the most.  I was considering throwing in a bid for $100, but obviously that wouldn't have done anything at all.

Also, if I haven't mentioned this before, keep an eye out for a decent deal on a Wither EP Zep, I want one.

Will do.  I think they're still going for pretty big money though.  I finally caved and bought one 3 months ago, but it cost me around $150.

Well, I'm hoping to steal one in the $50-70 range, also, and I know you'll hate me for this, I want the slim jewel version, not the crappy digipack version.

That's what I assumed.  :)  (Although its actually a standard jewel case, not a "slim" case - I'm not aware of a slim case version)

Also, I actually just did a completed items search and it looks like there was one that sold recently for $52, so maybe it is possible after all.  I'll keep an eye out for you.

That's where I'm looking.

I still haven't found a Wither promo yet either. I'd certainly be willing to trade something for it should an extra turn up somewhere.

My source at RoadRunner is not aware of these existing. Buyer Beware.
