Hah! A buddy of mine has that SIGNED by Mike and another member.  He told me when he brought it to the meet and greet Mike was like "I really shouldn't be doing this.  Promise me you won't sell it."

Yeah, the only way you could tempt NY karma any more strongly would be to write "Fuck the Yankees" below the autograph.

I saw one in an FYE, used, for 13 bucks.

Damn near bought it, too, but didn't have enough $$ :sadpanda:

To be fair to the band, the cover isn't depicting a "burning WTC".  It's just a picture of the NYC skyline with fire in the background.

Seriously, this is probably one of the WORST coincidences ever. And the song formerly titled "The Conflict at Ground Zero" doesn't help either

I have one of those original Live Scenes pressings. Was tempted to part with it to make a little money, but then saw they were going for not too much more than I bought it for, so it doesn't make a lot of sense. I hate the digipak though.

Hell, I picked it up on 9/11.  A very chilling moment.

Hef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.

You mean "Basketful of Puppies".

(Anthrax released a statement after 9/11 answering to the question whether they were going to rename themselves given the Anthrax scares. They said given they didn't want to step onto anybody's possible toes, they would rename themselves to "Basketful of Puppies")

But you aren't supposed to mail puppy baskets, either.  So from a USPS perspective, both are unacceptable.

I found a copy in a used music store over the summer for...probably somewhere between $10 and $15 CDN, I can't remember anymore. Naturally I was thrilled, but seeing it in Ottawa made me think it couldn't possibly be that rare.

I have 2 sealed copies and the Korean edition in the fat jewel case. I are awesomer than u.  :P
As a basic rule, if you hate it, you must solely blame Portnoy. If it's good, then you must downplay MP's contribution to the band as not being important anyway, or claim he's just lying. It's the DTF way.
