^^ What kind of three or four different bands are you referring to? To me, I can't think of any modern contemporaries, except maybe A7X, can create such intricate, epic stuff like Blackbird, Cry of Achilles, Brand New Start, Fortress, Calm The Fire, Cradle to the Grave, etc. and still retain creating catchy good Active Rock radio singles like Isolation and Addicted to Pain. They are far from a generic band to me in comparison to their contemporaries (Halestorm, Shinedown, Breaking Benjamin, etc.) and I have heard of lot of bands in the Active Radio format and I feel like AB shines above all of them (even if they don't get the radio love like other bands).
This band doesn't mean a lot to you, Stadler? That's fine, but this band means to me and as much I like seeing Myles solo (and he's really great at that), I prefer if Alter Bridge is active all the time, especially over Slash's solo band (which is good as well, but I feel that Myles seems a bit restricted of what he can do there compared to solo and AB). I remember a list of bands I really liked 10 years ago, and surprisingly, looking back now, there's only one band I still really like to this day and you guess it. It's this one and I'm excited for this DVD and the next journey for this band.
