Favorite DT and LTE instrumentals
« on: February 23, 2010, 10:53:28 AM »
I am curious as to how popular the LTE instrumentals are vs. the DT ones.  I am only including the ones that have a shot in hell at winning, so fans of stuff like "Eve," "914" and "The Stretch," don't get upset.

Everyone is allowed to vote for five songs.

First to vote for Osmosis. :hat

Erotomania, Stream of Consciousness, Acid Rain, Osmosis and Paradigm Shift. In that order. Although, on reflection, probably should have had Ytse instead of Paradigm.

Out of curiosity, are these in any order?

Hell's Kitchen
State Of Grace / Universal Mind (gotta have both, IMO, because they just sound great back-to-back)
When The Water Breaks
Three Minute Warning (EPIC jam session... doesn't get boring or long for me at all! Love it!)

1. Kindred Spirits - LTE's best work
2. Erotomania - Everything about this one is so memorable
3. State of Grace - Lyrical and evocative
4. Hell's Kitchen - Climactic and epic
5. Overture 1928 - Great job at introducing themes from the album

In no particular order (except for SDOIT, which is my number 1)

SDOIT Overture - the best EVAR
Paradigm Shift - easily my favourite from LTE1
Hell's Kitchen
Another Dimension - easily my favourite from LTE2
Biaxident - I actually don't know why I chose this one. It's great, but now I think about it, I'd rather have chosen Erotomania.

Only King could mis-spell a LETTER.
Yep. I think the only party in the MP/DT situation that hasn't moved on is DTF.

When the Water Breaks, Chewbaca, Another Dimension, Biaxident, Three Minute Warning.

Seriously, DT instrumentals are inferior compared to LTE. LTE just rocks a lot that it doesn't even need vocal.
