North America only is fail. The last hat managed to cross continents, if we can't even manage that this time then there's little point really :P

EDIT: Due to shipping costs, it has been decided that the hat will only tour North America for the time being. This is subject to change, but not very likely.

I'm down for the north American "tour", I hope the "opening" hat is interesting though and I think every person to recieve the hat should only keep it for "an evening with".
oh i crack me up and then i bore me to death heh
I wouldn't want somebody with 18 kids to mow my damn lawn, based on a longstanding bias I have against crazy fucks.

I want to sign up and give my shipping info, but I don't want to give my name. Even if I gave the name of someone else in my house, we all have the same last name.

I'm not afraid of anyone knowing my name, I just really don't want you guys to know my name for some reason.

So you'd sell out your own family to remain anonymous? :p

So here is the thing. I'd love to get this hat to the UK, that would be so damn sweet. Only issue is shipping costs. Like I said, I have no problem with it making it's way over there, as long as someone is willing to pay the shipping (unless someone has another plan that would work better).
I felt its length in quite a few places.

For that to happen we may need to send around another hat  :D

Keep it away from Hef until everyone else has tried it on.

Sounds like fun. Count me in. I could possibly provide the top hat as well.

Also, I think hefdaddy42 should be excluded. :p

lol screw you guys!

Hef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.

I do have experience in this area.  That pic was taken literally seconds before the destruction of The Hat.

ideally it would be broken and then set upon a funeral pyre made of pictures of everyone else in the hat, but that seems a bit labor intensive :lol

I would SO be in on this! You know, if someone wants to pay the money to send it to Sweden, I'm willing to send it back to the states, and paying all costs! What do you say, Veronica, Zydar and Logical Nightmare? Gotta have some scandinavians! :metal

This sounds interesting. I was waiting for some Swede to take the initiative (namely you) :p

That's why it should be arrange to minimise shipping distances, and only one person would have to ship it across to Europe. Lots of people here have sent things transatlantically to each other (bootlegs, secret santa presents etc).

/*/tards harass less when you ask for it for some reason. I only got 30 death threat letters, 2 packages of weird items, and 50-60 death threats by phone.

The mIRC one was all friends, so they didn't really do anything. Sadly.

Don't even mention it by using that series of symbols you used above.  That post has been deleted.  Yes, it is a bannable offense.

I'm definitely in for the hat idea.  There are definitely options.

Traditional collapsable black top hat

Cat-in-the-hat style

IMO, I think we should do N.A. first.  Once it is nearly done, we can decide whether to circulate it overseas.

Agreed.

Listen y'all, all we have to do is have it tour North America and then send it overseas and figure out a good route so that the people in Europe, etc. will pay as little shipping as possible. It will not be so bad. I'm pretty sure multiple people have already offered to send it overseas, so one of them can be the last destination in NA. Perhaps we should send it from west to east?
Maybe we should post locations next to everyone's name so we can figure it out. I'm in Colorado (at least for the next 5 months, and it better not take any longer than that to get to me!!) :D

I personally think that hef should be the hat's final destination and should be ceremoniously destroyed
