Silver Linings in Rome (by www.italianvoices.net)
« on: January 30, 2010, 04:29:11 AM »
Here you are a bootleg by the unofficial Italian fan club! ;) The fan club gave this bootleg as Christmas bootleg 2009!

The product (audio) is not altered, but given as it was recorded. Do not change credits and do not alter any track. Under these conditions, of course you are able to share, but not to sell.

The bootleg is dedicated to everyone who was at the concert, but also to people who had not the chance to be present. We give you this bootleg to keep a special remembrance of the evening! orphaeusest (the author of the bootleg) also wishes to make a particular dedication to Lilli/here i'm, a strict friend of him who would have liked to be at the concert, but could not. Enjoy!

Merry Christmas by the fan club!

Thank you very much.

EDIT: For anyone not 100% sure about downloading this boot. Two things to note: JLB's is very good, and it's worth it for the version of TCOT.

Download used a soundboard? I just assumed they plugged shit in and hoped for the best :neverusethis: :lol

Yep. I think the only party in the MP/DT situation that hasn't moved on is DTF.

i am sorry if i answer so lately :D. anyway, actually there is not an artwork, but a friend of us is working on it... i checked out something of his work and i can tell you that he's really great! just be patient ^^.

the quality of the audio is not like an official live, but i made all i could do with my instruments ^^. and i preferred not to modify my registration, but to keep the audio just as it is in order to give a more realistic idea of how the concert was, without any alteration.. i hope you appreciate ^^.

has anyone heard it? what is your opinion about this bootleg, about the show, about our heroes, about labrie, about everything? ^^ i always remember that the audio was NOT altered, the registration was NOT adjusted but given as recorded ^^. i think it is more realistic like that, as if you really were at the show ^^.

and i have a news... the artwork (front and retro) is almost ready! ^^

I just listened to it.  Definitely a keeper.

Pros:
Really great set list.  LaBrie was spot on.  Could really get the feel that you're part of the crowd.  Highlights were Take the Time and Voices, mostly because of LaBrie.  LaBrie's EQ on the recording was great.

Cons:
The crowd noise is sometimes louder than the band.  Also, during heavier moments, the sound is really muddy, and it hard to hear what is going on.

Good to hear about the artwork!  Thanks for the show! :tup

yeah, the crowd was too much annoying, sometimes (as in hollow years, for instance)... there were people that was not singing but only screaming non-sense... argh! anyway, the rest of the crowd was really great! italian crowd is famous for being hearty. we always sing, also the melody of a song ^^. and... no, unfortunately it is not flac... sorry ^^. it is the first time we realize a bootleg, you know ^^.

about the artwork, here you are! the author is a member of our unofficial fan club, metalfuro. i hope you like it!
