Cheers.

This album has lost nothing and remains a constant spin. In fact this and Kings Of Mercia will likely be neck and neck come year's end :metal

I like the A-Z album way better than Kings of Mercia. KoM is pretty good, but I found it to be a more "standard" listen. Couldn't hear much of Matheos' touch (it's not a matter of genre - I know he was going for something different here. It's just that there's a good portion of it that sounds a bit generic). A-Z might not be particularly groundbreaking either, but it has a spark that makes me want to go back to it. Agree with you that it's still going strong.

Bump. According to Mark Zonder, they're currently recording album 2 :metal
It sounds like, "ruk, ruk, ruk, ruk, ruk." Instead of the more pleasing kick drum sound of, "gzarruk, gzarruk, gzarruk, gzarruk."

New video for SOMETIMES

https://lotsofmuzik.com/a-z-release-music-video-for-the-song-sometimes/

Now, all the songs have videos, and I believe this is the first instance where I've seen videos created for every song on an album, correct?

Wow excellent thanks for the share, still loving this record \m/

Didn't Queensryche release all the songs off DNA or at least close to it?

From the band:

The second A-Z record is nearing completion and one of the final pieces needed is YOUR VOICE. That's right, we want YOU, the fans, to literally be a part of this release! We're looking for you to record part of a group style chant and send it to the band for mixing into one of their new tracks!
First step, listen to the sample HERE: https://soundcloud.com/mark-zonder/a-z-chant-1
Once you've checked it out - grab a mic and record yourself singing the same line!
Just click on the “more” icon to download the file and email the file to azchant1@gmail.com no later than February 5, 2024. That's it! We'll handle the rest from there.
Have fun and rock out!

From the band's Facebook:

A-Z second album is heading into the mix stage.  Very fortunate to have the extremely talented Simone Mularoni doing the mix as he was responsible for the amazing mix on the first album.  He also contributes amazing guitar parts.

Ray Alder
Philip Bynoe
Nick van Dyk
Simone Mularoni
Jimmy Waldo
Mark Zonder

It sounds like, "ruk, ruk, ruk, ruk, ruk." Instead of the more pleasing kick drum sound of, "gzarruk, gzarruk, gzarruk, gzarruk."

Winger Theater Forums........or WTF.  ;D
TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

Nice.

I have no idea who Jimmy Waldo is, but yeah, it seems they changed the whole band except for Bynoe. It's nice to see Ray working with Nick again.

That's an absolutely killer lineup.
Everyone else, except Wolfking is wrong.

New line-up is nice, although I did very much enjoy the line-up on the first album...the playing was very...fresh?

Anyhoo...looking forward to this one. The debut was a very pleasant surprise.

Bummed there is no keyboardist anymore.  Oh well.  But the lineup is cool.  With Nick and Simone and Ray this is basically like Redemption now, just with a different bassist and drummer.  Should be interesting.

I guess Jimmy Waldo doesn't exist?  :P

(or am I missing something? still not familiar with the guy)

Oh, my bad!  I'm not familiar with him.  I thought he was a guest vocalist.
