Author Topic: New Forums Themes are now active (Read 2840 times)

As is the usual case, to celebrate the new album release we now have two new themes for your viewing pleasure: the The great northern theme of the Americas and Ravenskill Red. The default has been changed to the empire theme but you can change your theme back to something else by going to Profile > Account Settings > Look and Layout preferences.

If you spot something that looks a bit off in the themes, let me know and I can fix it.

I usually change bright themes right away when they're imposed but I think I'm keeping this one for a while

When looking at a thread, the background of the "users currently reading this topic" is the same colour as the usernames, only the green and blue names are visible.

This is no problem for me as I'm using the Beneath the Surface theme, but I thought I'd point it out

EDIT: Nevermind, don't know if this was ever the case, but it might've just been me, the names are white and perfectly visible to me now

Nah, I only just spotted it. Fortunately its a simple change in CSS.

I appreciate the new themes (I thought Bosk had said there would not be a new one, let alone two). I opted back to the DT12 one, I just really like the blue and dark colors on my eyes better, but like I said. I appreciate the work, very cool!

Ravenskill Red was indeed cool, but when there was more than one quote it was hard to read the usernames.

I went back to the 'Beneath the Surface' option. There is a 'warmth' with the ol' blue background, as well as for these older eyes. Wish it was the default, but that's just a personal preference, and appreciate your efforts. Was there something big like an album release that sparked the changes?

Yea, I actually didn't realize there were a few options so I not only tried the new, but some of the old as well. I like the dark blue as well for my eyes, and dark blue is my favorite color.
