I'm surprised no one posted Matt Guillory officially joined the band several days ago. It'll be an interesting combination, that's for sure!

Their debut is very good.  A few of them actually played on the first Thoughts Chamber (Ted Leonard) album.  They sounded really good on the ProgNation cruise.  Made a fan out of Nick.

I'm not coming into this thread to shit on the band, but it's just weird that listening to "Rebel Mind" for a few minutes, it only drove home the point for me that I actually don't like prog metal. It's weird, the track leaves me completely cold, and I switched it off after a while.

I think some of it can be sort of numbing. It either hits you or it doesn't I guess.
would have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related
Winger Theater Forums........or WTF.  ;D
TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

Wow, this is some cool shit.  Debut album was pretty solid.

I picked up a Thought Chamber album a few weeks ago, really good stuff.

Which one Kade?  Angular Perceptions (the one the Eumeria guys played on), or the latest one from last year, Psykerion?

What excites me most is that Matt is my go-to guy when I crave something catchy, and combining his writing with yet another band of cool musicians (with a standout lead guitarist and vocalist, no less) will make for some cool stuff. Between now and this time next year, we'll get this, the new JLB EP and Matt's solo album, and I'm guaranteed to like a lot of it, so I'm just really pleased. Plus, prog metal regularly feels either too clinical or too neo-prog-Disney for me nowadays. Gimmeh some hooks.

I've had this reaction to approximately 95% of the progressive metal bands/songs I have heard. :lol There's not very many diamonds in the rough from my perspective.

Psykerion.  I was browsing and saw it in the stands and never heard much about them but saw the names involved on the cover and picked it up.  Still need to fully get into, but it's damn solid.

Wow, didn't realize matt had joined full-time.  I thought he was doing guest work on their new album.  Matt should definitely add a nice element to this band.  Looking forward to it for sure.
