Most definitely.
I never understood how anyone could think of 6DOIT as one song. Ok ok I get it, concept, suite, etc. But to me they're very distinct songs. It's not like Scenes From A Memory is one song...
Yet I still believe that Scenes From A Memory, ideally, should be listened to in one sitting.
Yes I agree with that, but I still see it as a concept ALBUM made up of distinct songs that are also relevant on their own (for the most part).

I'm glad cause that way I can listen to About to Crash and Solitary Shell on their own.

Toro knows what's up.

I wouldn't disagree with that. But in that case, they should've separated the songs a little better, instead of having them merge into one another so perfectly, and not having proper outros or anything.
"How's that for a slice of fried gold?"

Absolutely.  I almost never listen it all of the way through, simply because it doesn't work well as a single song, but works well as a suite featuring different pieces with a few recurring musical themes.

I normally listen to the entire song in one sitting, but I do like having the songs in parts so I can occasionally just listen to one specific part.

Generally I listen to the whole thing, just like with disc 1
