Big respect for creating the most terrifying Alien in movie history. To this day you still have no competition. Alien will always be one of my favourites Sci-Fi movies!

RIP  :'(

Not to mention the cover of Brain Salad Surgery. A truly great artist.

Bummer.  He was a brilliant and apparently very disturbed artist, but I loved his work.

Anyone looking to get their mind blown a bit, just go to Google and type in "giger".  Caution: a lot of the results will not be safe for work.

Not safe for work? I can't remember any IT or design office from the nineties without at least one or two big ass Giger posters on the walls.

I've seen a few TV interviews, he also seemed like a nice and funny guy with a great kind of eccentric in-your-face humour. Definitely one genius artist who created his very own unique worlds with his very own unique style.

Farewell Hansruedi!

Greetings...
