It's JP. I like the filters in this picture, reminds me of an Opeth album cover for some reason.
... And you ask me: "Where's my hairspray?"

It reminds me more of Up The Downstair album cover

JP seven string songs:

Caught in a Web
The Mirror
Lie
A Change of Seasons
New Millennium
Just Let Me Breathe
Acid Rain
The Dance of Eternity
The Glass Prison
This Dying Soul
Jaws of Life
Tunnel Vision
The Dark Eternal Night
Repentance
The Shattered Fortress
Raw Dog

I'd say these distinguished songs are varied enough that we can expect a kick-ass seven string track.

Hmm, not many of those are in my fave DT songs. Never been a fan of the "downtuned" (effectively) sound.

Well, technically, they aren't downtuned, but these are:

Home
Blind Faith
Misunderstood
The Great Debate
As I Am
Endless Sacrifice
Honor Thy Father
Stream of Consciousness
In the Name of God
The Root of All Evil
I Walk Beside You
Panic Attack
Never Enough
Forsaken
A Nightmare to Remember
A Rite of Passage
Raw Dog

Thats why "effectively" was in brackets. Should have said the seven string sound. That low B is too low for me.

Yeah, I kind of figured that's what you meant. I'd recommend you stay away from bands like Mesuggah  :tup

Wither?  I thought Wither was played on the baritone?

It is, it's played on a baritone tuned to Bb standard.

Ahh, I thought it was just on a baritone tuned to B, rather than a downtuned baritone.

If i'm not wrong Misunderstood was played with a seven strings, here it is the making of video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4bS1OcbrUKM, and then in the Chaos in Motion Tour he used to play it with a Baritone.

I'm not gonna lie. I was waiting for the next line so I could say "ARE WE PROFITING FROM DICKS."

But it didn't happen. I'm hurt, guys. Wounded, even. I'm going to sleep now. Maybe it'll be better in the morning. Maybe it won't. Only time will tell.

Well how about that! I always thought it was just drop-D except for the obvious baritone parts. Now I know...

I imagine that's just as likely to be "the magic of weekends."

They don't get much time with the family on the road - I'm sure they probably build it into the studio time.
