ITT: Help Nick buy a car (Done!)

I knew from Carfax that the rear and right side of the car was damaged and it had to be towed. I confirmed via title it wasn't reconstructed and guessed that the right rear tire was likely just damaged thus causing the tow. I brought the car to my mechanic and he immediately noted that right rear tire was different from the rest and the fenders in that area had been painted, but that everything mechanically was in good order. He also checked everything else out of course and gave it a clean bill of health.

Congrats, dude.  If you trust your mechanic and he gave you the    then you're good to go.

Actually that's a quasi dealer/personal page ran by the guy I bought the car from, and he said it's just getting up and running, and from the looks of it I'm the first customer to actually go up on the page.
