Pro-tip: next time, put your song on Youtube or Soundcloud or something for streaming. I can only speak for myself, but as a rule I don't download files from unknown sources.

Anyway, the song is alright. I particularly enjoyed the lyrics. Are you planning to flesh out the song with more instruments at all? Right now, it's basically just an acoustic guitar strumming chords for eight minutes, which is far from being necessary, especially considering it would be more like 4 minutes with all the instrumental taken out. My advice to you is to either A) add more instruments with the goal of making the piece a lot more dynamic and interesting or B) cut all the fat and have this be a single-length acoustic piece.

Also, the vocals, with all due respect, need quite a bit of work.

I would like to expand it into a full-band piece, in particular during the long instrumental sections, I would like it to be big and anthemic with choir-like keyboards, and a guitar solo as well.

Also, yes, I'm not the best vocalist :P But thanks for the criticism, much appreciated.

EDIT: Oh, I should have added, I really appreciate that you like the lyrics, I don't consider myself much of a lyricist or a poet but I worked hard on them. :)
