This song always reminds me of, like, 8th grade dances and being a really awkward kid trying to fit in somehow, by sagging or doing whatever:

Now when I just here it, I just lol.

Just about any Seether song from their album "Finding Beauty in Negative Places". That album was literally on infinite repeat during my "suicidal teenage angst days". Now I just look back on it, shrug and remember how silly and irrational I was at times. Though I don't necessarily like to think about it regardless.
I felt its length in quite a few places.

The majority of metal brings me back to my stupid person days.

Metal's all I listened to then, and now, much of it brings me an unfortunate aftertaste of mediocrity.

The majority of metal brings me back to my *snip* days.

Metal's all I listened to then, and now, much of it brings me an unfortunate aftertaste of santorum.
As a little piece of advice, you might want to re-word this before a mod sees it and gives you a warning.

EDIT: Good boy.
I felt its length in quite a few places.

  • Favorite song by Europe: Carrie.
"Donald Pleasance" by Flotation Toy Warning is pretty much the soundtrack to 2010, where my attempts to get back together with my ex that started well at the beginning of the year totally fell apart and the rest of the year was a slow spiral downward until she finally stopped lying to me about being in a relationship with someone else. Absolutely refuse to listen to that song now.
The bones of beasts and the bones of kings become dust in the wake of the hymn.
Mighty kingdoms rise, but they all will fall, no more than a breath on the wind.

Songs by N'Sync.  "Tearin' Up My Heart" and "Bye Bye Bye" make me feel so nostalgic.
"All great works are prepared in the desert, including the redemption of the world. The precursors, the followers, the Master Himself, all obeyed or have to obey one and the same law. Prophets, apostles, preachers, martyrs, pioneers of knowledge, inspired artists in every art, ordinary men and the Man-God, all pay tribute to loneliness, to the life of silence, to the night." - A. G. Sertillanges

Slipknot and Metallica will remind me of middle school forever.

Pretty much any kind of ska brings me back to when my last girlfriend and I were caught in an infinite on-again, off-again loop that just got fucking aggravating. Not sure why ska was my genre of choice during that time, but it was.
Orion....that's the one with a bunch of power chords and boringly harsh vocals, isn't it?
LOOK AT THIS AWESOME SHIT AHHHHHH

Sadly, that distinction belongs to Lightbulb Sun by PT, Superunknown by Soundgarden, and Selling Insincerity by Abigail's Ghost. This is because at the time I discovered each of these albums, I was madly in love with a girl that was bad for my health. They were awesome albums and now I can't even listen to them.
