Personally, I prefer DT's usage of the word "and" much more.

What the heck is up with this poster? I'm semi-new here, but I've been on a LOT of forums and I've never seen a ratio of forum success:poster entitlement. Seriously. Derail a thread here, use "and" instead of "the", get pissed. It's annoying and I've seen it a ONCE, especially given that I've been active here for a very medium amount of time.

Oddly enough, the word "The" has never been used in a Dream Theater album title (though a lot of "and"/"&" has been used).

I'll have to go with...

In all seriousness, I think my favourite stems from "In the Presence of Enemies'" third movement. "Welcome, tired pilgrim, into the circle; we have been waiting..." I kid you not, the way James sings that line sends such shivers down my spine!

In terms of song titles, I like either "The Great Debate" (for a "The" as the centerpiece) or "In the Presence of Enemies" (for a "The" as an almost-silent article, unnoticed but perfecting the title). I think about this stuff too much.
