Title: A song I wrote inspired by the winter season. VOCALZ!!! (streaming link)

A little song I wrote a while back and decided to record with what crappy equipment I have. I have a wighted-key keyboard, so from time to time you'll hear the keys falling back down, and there's a bit of fuzz, so don't turn it up too loud. (I know the production is a little bad, but I did my best!)

Best heard on speakers rather than headphones.

It's the first in a series of three songs I wrote that tell a little story. Please listen and constructively criticize!


It's mostly a very relaxing tune, so sit back and enjoy.

Thank you! My lead voice was off because I decided to record the vocals really late at night :P

I like your playing, and I really like the lyrics but I think the singing/vocal melody could use a little work.

Nice tune, very calming.

The vocals could be better but I think it's down to the equipment not your singing.   ;)

When are the next two songs in the series coming?   :D

My friend has been helping me to get more body to my voice, so it would probably sound much better now. It's not entirely the fault of the equipment.

The next two (or maybe three) are being written, I have a lot of ideas. The second one is about halfway done though. When I'm not so busy with school and work I'll definitely be putting all my efforts back into songwriting, which I love.

Love the lyrics, piano is very nice. Vocals could use a little work as said, and it sounds really weird for the "softer" line. Doesnt seem to blend well with how you sang everything else in the song.

But seems very solid, cant wait to hear it when you fix a few of the things and get better recording equipment. :)
