Geez, just based on FB a lot of you have had to process some major hardship the past 24 hours. Much love to you all - and the ones I don’t know about.

Last 5 weeks have been so hard on our family.

And I hope you all take this in the spirit it's intended: I have birds. Budgies. A couple months ago, "Bubbles" laid five eggs; two hatched and we have two new additions to the group, Tornado ("'nado") and Sushi. Now, we've got three more eggs in the nesting box. It's hard to tell, but it looks at first glance that two of the three might be hatchings.

I vote they be renamed to Sally, Maise, Papashmegland, Mamalahh, Jamesbro, and Puppypal. That’s right, get a sixth egg somehow.

Well, I was lucky, but in the spirit of the topic, I could have died last night.
I left home to go to a concert. Started to pour immediately after. Got the message, and I turned back home basically 5 minutes after I left. A road was blocked by a branch, so I took the other way to reach home from the other side. I made a turn.... and a huge tree fell down on my car.
Car completely destroyed. Me? just a minor and very tiny little scratch on the ankle and nothing else. I was about to die 2 minutes of walking distance away from my home because of the SECOND severe and violent storm happened in the SAME DAY.
hese violent and sudden events are becoming frequent more and more. It could have cost me my life, it cost me just my car. Do I have to be afraid to go outside when it rains now?
