Pretty simple. Choose the FIVE songs from this list that you like the most.
This list is populated by the bottom two songs from each DT album based on the DT "league" that was completed in December 2019. I have excluded False Awakening Suite and transitional songs from SFAM and TA.
P.S. Sorry for the misfire when I initially tried to create this thread.

Light Fuse and Get Away (fave on WDaDU, an album I rate very highly)
The Ones Who Help to Set the Sun (former fave of WDaDU)
The Great Debate (second song that was an early fave on SDoIT behind Disappear)
Honor Thy Father (song I've come to appreciate more than before)
Never Enough (love this song, including the Muse influence, lyrics and in particular that instrumental section)

"bottom two" is subjective I guess. As any preference of five pieces here. (back on topic: I'm surprised to see Misunderstood appear here. Not because of how (apparently) not liked it is, but rather just for what it is I guess. When I heard them play it live it was strange to say the least, but also interesting in some ways. I only heard them play it 3 times at the most, in 2002.)

Exactly. The actual bottom 2 songs from SFAM were Regression and Through My Words, but as I mentioned in the original post, I omitted transitional songs like those and a few on TA. I suspect if I had included them, they'd get no votes at all.

You can't be too surprised that WFS is a bottom 2 song on I&W, can you? It surprises me that, at the moment, it has the most votes of any of the listed songs.
And there are only six songs on SDOIT. I'm surprised Misunderstood ranked below Disappear, but folks here seem to like Disappear. And, while you (and I) like both AFTR and OOR, I think we both know that both rank pretty low on their respective albums for most folks here.

Controversial opinion: Wait for Sleep is better than Take the Time (well maybe equal to Take the Time), Surrounded and Under a Glass Moon.

I absolutely am surprised. The worst I could possibly rank it is 4th on I&W if I really stretch. And there is no way I could honestly rank it below TTT, Surrounded, UAGM, or Another Day.

I would only rank WFS ahead of Another Day and UAGM. The worst thing I can say about WFS, though, is that it's short, which means that, as good as it is, it can't stand up to the longer songs that are equally as good or better. I don't think that's such an unusual take, and even if you think more highly of the song, I also don't think it's all that surprising.

probably, and it prepares us for Learning To Live quite nicely, seeing as some parts from WFS are reprised in it. (Far From Heaven and BAI work similarly btw)

Caught in a Web - I was suprised to see this was even on the poll, how it managed to make bottom 2 on Awake. But then I tought about the rest of Awake and that's some stiff competition. Song still rocks though.
Burning My Soul
The Great Debate - picked this by accident thinking it was Blind Faith for some reason, and now I can't un-vote it :blush

A Rite of Passage - I was surprised to see this so low on here, it's far and away my favourite song from that album.

On the other end of the spectrum, You Not Me, Act of Faythe and Losing Faythe have only gotten one vote each. Enigma Machine only got 2 votes, and Burning My Soul and Repentance round out the "worst of the worst" with only 3 votes each.

As indicated above, I'm a bit surprised about WFS given its brevity and status as sort of a prelude to LTL. Otherwise, I agree.
From a personal standpoint, I'm baffled at the love that TGD gets. I'm doing a run through DT's albums, and I'm finishing SFAM later today, so I'll give TGD another listen soon.

I listened to TGD again over the weekend, and my opinion remains unchanged. The song is just a mess...especially the intro, which seems to run on and on and on... There is a little bit near the end that's pretty good, but it's very short and quickly gives way to a bit of JP/JR wankery. I did, however, revise my opinion about Disappear from bad to not bad but mostly boring.
