FantasMic vs. Beauty of the Beast
48 hours to vote.

Beauty of the Beast.
Fantastic song and a forgotten epic long overdue for the Floor treatment (and the removal of the Christabel final speaking session).
-
This is SO god damn difficult. I went with Fantasmic, but only because it's a 50/50 toss up for me and I knew I'd be maybe the only one to vote for it anyway.

FantasMic is FantasMic. Come on, how many epic symphonic metal songs about the Disney animated canon do you know.
-
FantasMic is very good, but Beauty of the Beast is one of the greatest Nightwish songs.
Top 10? 5? Who knows. It's up there.

Same, it was #1 for me for a long time. But I'd have to think about that again since Floor joined and time has passed. Definitely still top 5 for sure though. Nothing against Fantasmic.

Number 1 for me since I first heard it 16 years ago. My devotion to that song is damn near religious. What a masterpiece!

Absolutely. I started with Century Child (whatever year that was) so that album has always been a favourite of mine, and Beauty of the Beast was in my top 5 of the Tarja-era. Don't really know where it would be now.
Odd that it's never appeared on a live release. Oh well, we have the epic Floor live treatment to look forward to then.

I just worry that it is only us DTF folk who love it and not Toumas or Floor which would be needed to actually get it played. With Decades behind us now, I feel the band may mostly be looking forward and not the pre Once years for the most part.

Yea I have a similar fear. Same few pre-once songs and nothing else.
Hopefully not.
