Title: What are your favorites of these DT songs? (Part 1)

Choose up to 3 songs.

I made this hard on purpose.  I will do a series of these polls in this subforum, just for fun.

I went with:

Those two came easy.

Then it got harder.

Came down to:
Learning to Live
At Wit's End
Octavarium
Breaking All Illusions
Fatal Tragedy

Well that was hard! Went with At Wit's End. Acknowledging it is in part due to it is the newest and one I've listened to the most recently.

Went with Learning to Live, The Mirror and Home. Could've picked ACoS, but at the moment, I think I rank these 3 higher. LtL is forever my #1 DT song.

A Change of Seasons
Voices


Of course the list is filled with frabjously fantastic songs so it was nearly impossible to choose, but I did anyway  ;D

Was just wondering who was the other person who had exquisite taste and selected The Mirror :) I went with ACoS instead of Home though, though it could have gone either way.

While I stated above my top 3, The Mirror will always have a special place in my heart because it's the song that made me finally think "hey, these guys are good, I should check them out", so it's the song that started the avalanche effect that made me into a DT fan. So while I don't place it on the podium, it's still one of my very favorite DT songs and one of the sentimentally dearest, so any kind of love for The Mirror is deeply appreciated and shared by me  :heart

Fatal Tragedy is underrated. I’ve converted a couple non-fans with that song.

This was a tough one.  So many great songs.  I felt Metropolis was a must because that's the song that made me get into Dream Theater and made me buy Images and Words almost immediately.  Still my favorite Dream Theater album and one of my top favorite albums of all time, if not my favorite.
