Post by: H2 on December 11, 2019, 04:47:27 PM: Octavarium is more consistently good front to back, where ACOS has some meh instrumental bits, and the beat ending goes to Octavarium. But ACOS just has this magical quality that is just hard to beat. I give it to ACOS.

It would be interesting to see if this is the common case; given that we're discussing two utter masterpieces who are wonderful and majestic and a benchmark for the entire genre, I wonder if older fans who lived for years with A Change of Seasons still prefer that, and if newer fans who discovered DT thanks to Octavarium are more fond of that song.
