Title: People who's forum inboxes are full...
Post by: JayOctavarium on November 13, 2019, 12:29:58 AM
Why? Why are you hiding your conversations? ARE YOU PLANNING A SURPRISE PARTY? FOR ME?!?!?!

Ya'll just wanna look like you're popular? Well think about this... you're a nerd on a nerdy prog band forum. You ain't popular!

I've been here 9 years and have never had my inbox get full.

PS: Stadler clear out your inbox

I absolutely do that to seem popular.  :)

No, I wish; it's just me being lazy.

I don't like tossing out correspondence. I've got email going back to the late 1990s. Since it's a necessity here I only delete the last page when the time comes, so after cleanup I'm generally starting at about 85% full with room for about 23 new messages. If something's going on it can fill up kind of fast.

This is absolutely me.  And, like here, if there is a chain of messages that don't nest, I can have five or six messages on one topic that I want to save.

Then print the page to a .pdf!  That shit lasts forever, like VD and luggage.

That reminds me of the glitter-bomb I sent to Gary as his Secret Santa a few years back!  Fuck that was evil.

You've told me that before; I need to give that a try.   Maybe this weekend, depending on how cold it gets.

Wouldn't it just be easier to give Stadler unlimited storage in his PMs?

Aint that the truth, speaking from experience

The whole inbox being full is a bit odd, I guess for storage concerns it makes a lot of sense. I never thought it would be an issue for me, until one day it was.  I just deleted a bunch, but there's some I want to keep because it has phone numbers or information I MAY want to reference since I've met a bunch of DTF folks over the years. Maybe we can get DTF VIP access for unlimted messages?   :lol

Should increase the limit, and then Bosk should sell our info to Google to fund it.

Win Win
